Money in Motion: The topics covered will include, but will not be limited to: budgeting and calculating fixed, flexible and variable expenses; financial tools, i.e. comparison shopping and maintaining accurate financial records; how your credit score affects you, contracts and choosing the right insurance, consumer law protection and warning signs of financial trouble. MIM was also created by the American Center for Credit Education (ACCE).
Credit Counts - Credit Presentation: A comprehensive overview of what information is on your credit report and how your credit score is determined. Valuable tips and suggestions are given to build, rebuild and protect your credit as well as increase your credit score.
Dollars & Sense - Budgeting Presentation: A step by step guide to putting together a workable budget for your household to help you achieve your financial goals. Several different budgeting methods are reviewed to give you options in finding what method works best for you.
College Credit 4 Life: Our goal is to educate as many college students as possible regarding responsible ways to obtain and use credit. Using a NFCC resource tool called "College Credit for Life", CCCS of Buffalo, Inc. will instruct college students on techniques and tips to better manage their financial future.
Agency Talk: Tailored to the needs and interests of your organization, a certified presenter is available to present on the mission of CCCS of Buffalo as well as the services that our agency provides.
Make Your Move: A course designed for first-time homebuyers or individuals that have not purchased a home recently. This course gives participants the step-by-step information in preparation of homeownership, understanding lending requirements and how to maintain their home once they own it.
Post Purchase Workshop: Learn Budgeting, Saving for emergencies, Home maintenance, making your home energy efficient and how to refinance your mortgage.
Foreclosure/Loss Mitigation Workshop: Learn steps to take to avoid foreclosure, loss mitigation process, workout options, how to avoid scams and predatory lending and resources available for assistance.
